Registering CPH Number

Defra has now published the procedure for keepers of less than 50 birds to register for a CPH number. You must do this by law, by 1st October. Members without internet access can ask a friend or relative to do it on their behalf, or can post in a completed form.

not read much about it on the internet groups george, i wonder what fanciers think to having to register under the threat of "its a law".

i wonder what law it is, and what is the "punishment" for failing to comply .......

been reading about this george, so even though you dont race will you be required to have a vet visit you once/twice a year ...?

those who have registered for the channel have had to have a vets visit havnt they, so im wondering if it will be the same requirement for all those who register for the cph number ..... ive read some posts saying they will do, but ive no idea .

i think it's more to let you know if there is a problem in your area

ive read that they can make everyone register for the cph number because the rpra re classed the racing pigeon as poultry so some fanciers could race the channel
