rained again here half hour ago, stopped for now ......... just hoping it keeps off for the walk tonight .

thought i had done last grass cut not so sure now think we meed a frost

awful wet and foggy day but still very mild. Need to get stuck into some loft changes soon, swap 18 perches for a few nest boxes, keep the numbers down, getting too expensive too quickly these days.

yes it is colin, i need to go the corn shop weekend, need corn, grit, conditioning seed and minerals, pink and black .......goes up every time i go .

yes george me too, thought when i cut the front last week it might be the last one for this year, but its grown and will need doing again on a dry day .

glorious day here, just had them in the bath, feathers teeming out the dark yb's now, they ain't doing much flying.

This is an exceptionally big young hen, massive compared to the others: she was 5th Fed a few months ago, off a cock I took a punt on at Doncaster last year.
