feel sorry for them rene, theyve had a full day of flying.....the eventual winner deserves it after what they will have been through. mind you, just read article in homing world.....race in china was called an extra long distance race, IT TOOK THE WINNER 9 DAYS TO GET HOME.......... and the bird which came second came a day later, this is normal for this certain race.....

3 more prizes to be won, appears they got scattered by the freak storm over kent yesterday when the transporter got off the m25 it belted down for an hour the bravest of the brave came through today, it was a fantastic feeling seeing the birds dropped and made up for Terry/Jane for all the hard work they put in, 2 days of hell But from what i saw yesterday & today i will be entering again, but next year defo taking the tent (sleeping in the car was not fun) : fingers crossed more work in over next few days, ours being one?? we will have to discuss entering into the yearling race if he does make it

yes mark im sure the members would like to discuss the future of the bird and decide if they want to continue with it into the yearling stage................keeping fingers crossed fpr our bird getting back, lets face it the bird has shown guts in the past so it might just manage it this time.

personally i think these birds of marks will do better as yearlings/obs, the bird which won the national for him wasnt a yb......so given time to mature we might see a big difference in the results next season. just my opinion.............
