Personally i have never understood why any British fancier would ever wish to enter these type of races ,i well understand why the yanks started these type of races many years ago, futurity they named them, basically i suppose with such a huge lat-longditude to contend with,National races are impossible over there, and the only way they can test their family loft birds against allcomers must be these futurities, but here you can compete against any and everyone who competes in the Nationals. i also notice big time its the same money making exploters who run the vast majority of these "one loft races" if their not trying to sell you pigeons, treatrments, dvd`s or the rest, its pathetic really,a right rip off year after year, and strange thing, fanciers still love to get screwed over |

| I have not had pigeons for years as i'm not able to fly them out i can now see this as a way to race a bird either breed a few myself or buy a yb and send it to the one loft with the rpra i should be able to go to the loft on race days and also make some new friends |

| grizzlecock, i agree with part of what you have said, it does seem the same ones who are out to take our money with pigeon products, selling pigeons and any money making scheeme they can get involved in............and your right, pigeon men on the whole will buy anything they think will enhance their pigeons performance to win. |
