youll get your bottom smacked for that amanda...... what happened then, someone go into the back of you? was it bad enough so you couldnt drive it ? id hate to be without my car, if i go to the post box a couple of hundred yards up the road ill go in the car...... as it happens both the nieghbours on either side of me had there cars hit by someone (seperate crashes)and both had their cars wrote off....i was worried in case it was a bad omen and i was next....fingers crossed im not as its inconvienient to have no car. glad your back on the road so you can take the birds training and hope you can get them in the comebacks and win.....

Hi David, the comeback race is on the 19th of September at Bubwith, its only about 76 miles so it should be ok for my hooligans.
as for the car, well some idiot (umknown) hit the backend pushing the two tail pipes back and damaging the exhaust, big bumper and rear lights , the exhaust was pushed so far back it caused damage to the engine.
But fingers crossed our car will be back today. Well thats what they told me
They also told me they would only have the car for 4 days max

its unbeleivable the incompitance of these people wether its the loan car company or the insurance companies......you can guarantee even if its someone elses fault you will be put out or out of pocket in the event of a claim. one of the main gripes i have with my insurance at the moment is the "excess" which means if i make a claim even tho my no claims are protected.....i will have to pay the first £400. a few weeks ago i dropped some bricks when getting them out of the boot and scratched the bumper on the car, i thought i would claim off them but when i found out i would have to pay the 400 pound even tho the garage bill would be about £80-£100 i didnt bother....its a right scam.

Car came home last night
but your right David it is a scam. The ppeople who took my car said the exhaust was damaged. But some how it was good enough to go back on my car lol. I think they are takin the p out of my insurance company. But they have fitted a new body pannel that gos from the boot to under the car where the exhaust goes. I asked why and there guy said " we had to put a new one of those on because the other was welded to the exhaust.
To which i replyed " well thats strange cos when it left here the exhaust was in the boot and that part was ok because id managed to get down there and have a look.
Well he went red in the face. scam scam scam
The bill was £1096.48p my excess is £250. I got a life time guerantee on the job tho ha ha ha

Its a Chrysler PT Cruiser. dark blue tinted windows.
They are a quirkie looking car, it's one of those cars you eaither love or hate. Its amazing how much room they have in them.
