hi rene, as i didnt race hardly this seaason and only entere two open races i dont have much idea what/if any are any good or not..........if i had raced them i would definately pair best to best regardless of eye type, but also i might let my race team pick there own mates as this could make them happpier and race better.......? rather than an arranged marrage so to speak

mmmmmm, reason im re thinking is that my stock birds bred soe great ybs for the first year or two, then this year they started breeding some strange looking birds which looked more like show pigeons than racing pigeons.......strange colours and frills on their chests, plus very short cast.

I dont bother to pair my birds they get seperated for a month at the most the stock birds go back to there old mates and racebirds I look at them and say to myself that will be a nice pair and I would take two rounds off them floating the first round under a pair Im not breeding form I have had some very good results that way

ah right, so are you not too bothered about cross breeding them ginger...? do you always keep the same stock pairs togeather every year ? or do you decide when you know what the ybs do racing weather to alter the pairings ?

do you not think you could breed a better yb by altering the pairings sometimes tho ginger, im going to change a couple of mine maybe next season.........i remember reading bert braspennings article and he said most belgiums change there stock pairings every year regardless of what they breed, what are your thoughts on this ginger ...?
