gary you have never said a truer thing .the sport we are in is competitive but like you say if you win its a bonus but as long as my doos are competing win lose or draw i,m happy . there would be no man happeir than me if we got a different winner everyweek as it keeps the fancy happy and keen. i think in this sport there is no 2 fanceirs that race or treat the same which is why there is so much difference in opinion you just need to find a system that suits the man . gary for the record the man i hold in highest regard within sportmanship was your uncle george when i won hastings in 2005 he was the first person to phone me to congradulate me a proper gentleman its a pity there was,nt more like him .

he was like that with everyone he was allways the first to call the winner but goerge was very specail and you wont find another like him he was 1 in a million ready to give birds away to anything that was going and ready to give birds to anyone in the sport like i said he was 1 in a milloin uncle and bird man top of the tree he was the best uncle you could ask for and probably the best fancier you would have ever seen

sadly there doesnt seem many of these sort of fanciers around now, all some want to do is grumble and cause friction in the club

each to their own regarding treatments,at the end of the day we are all out to win and if this means treating or not treating thats up to the fancier,a wins a win however it is won.

yes very proud and i know he would have been very proud of me winning the fed for the first time this year yes he was the best at everything he did and a brill uncle very proud of the legacy he has left he was my fav uncle
