Is this contributing to the birds not coming home we here of double grandchild of this a double grandchild that from all over the place, if Im right royalte use to marrie there cousin and all that but they had all soughts of ailments and things you have never herd of its not so bad now, we here of the old strain of this and that, but most of the old strains are from the fifties and must be well inbred by now, you see BHW all the same collar from a back garden loft I have looked through them and they seam to be around the one bird, shorly if they are all around the one bird it must be a bit close and they are all the same stain, I dont think we as pigeon men and women are helping things at all, i will say this is my thoughts but bear in mind whot im asking whot is your thoughts on this. scratch scratch scratch scratch scratch lol! lol! lol! lol! study study study study

Yes i understand its not for you ian, but because you cross out then cross back in again dont you think that the winning genes in ur birds could be diluted where as father to daughter mother to son keeps that gene intacked the pairing of brother sister would only be bred for stock, the you of these would then be paired back to their granparents thus keeping the genes intack

i have read that if you have a good winning cock, then you should pair him to his daughter and then pair him again to the daughter of this pairing, therefor producing as near as possible to the original cock..............

dont want to drag this discussion down, but the reason why alot of the asians/muslims/pakistanis etc are born with abnormalities is because they are bred from generations of cousins marrying cousins......but when you do this with pigeons i dont think it matters that much, altho i do think it can produce faults every now and then...but if they do they get culled anyway dont they.
