I dont like the thought of my birds living like that...

Alex i also like a clean loft and when i had the birds i cleaned out 2 times a day,
but as i said everyones does things differently, clean loft, scruffy loft, what ever makes the pigeon happy and content

Yep, I like a nice clean loft and clean both out top to bottom every day. For one, I don't want to be wading through there mess, and two, im not sure of the effects of them breathing it in/living in it 24/7. I know people do it with no effects said, im just not keen on it, you could say my birds are spoilt with the way they get treated, alot differently to the fanciers that breed to win.

Alex you are correct mate, there is nothing wrong with a good clean loft, did you see Ian loft picture of his set up spotless mate and that for me is the way it should be regardless

So there is nothing wrong with you cleaning out everyday

Alex when you look in this weeks book the racing pigeon in the black country notes by mark evans, you will see the photo's of the belguim trip the 2 fanciers John Bradley and Arnie Tonks there lofts are spot less and every time they saw a dropping it is removed
