ok, thanks to you both..........its understandable with it been so near to christmas and also with the excitement of the oneloft....

none of that david we have about 4 foot of snow today and still coming down doors are all blocked up again

your joking..... ours has been gone for about a week now and hopefully they will be no more............very cold here tho and birds are huddled up on perches.

We had snow today.....about 4mm though

David mate looks like some changes may be starting to happen about the hawks, in the homing world today I saw the display they put on the taxi, and they want others to do it

havnt seen it alex, i get mine a week late as i swap the r.p. with a local fancier every week.......

Trying to get the fact the pigeons are being killed by hawks across

This is the brainwave of Terry Luscombe, Secretary for the Plymouth Continental Fed and Devon and Cornwall Combine, who came up with the idea after a discussion at a Combine meeting. He decided to contact Dave Bills at the RPRA, who suggested taking it bck to the Region. At the next meeting Terry raised the subject, informing them that he could get the picture of the rpra sticker enlarged and placed on the rear screen of a taxi for the total sum of £260 per year. As you can see (or as you will David ) the outcome is quite spectacular, the public are more likely to question the decline of the songbirds when it is so graphically illustrated. It would be fantastic if other parts of the country could rally round and do the same taxis, buses, bus shelters, advertising hoarding, so go to your region for support, and maybe the Blackpool show could subsidide this in some way. Educating Joe Public as to the real reason why our sonbirds are dissapearing, not some trumped up story or bad frming and pesticides, is the way forward.
