| IMO, i class inbreeding as brother/sister, father/daughter, mother/son etc
i class line breeding as uncle/niece, half brother/half sister etc |

| remember years ago, with the old lefebre's we paired a brother/sister of the victrix/geisha lines...........bred mosaic pied, bronze, cheq pd crest and a blue
The Blue won, the others useless |

| funny you should say that mark, one pair of my lefebres have bred this season (2010) ybs with frill chests and also an opal cheq, had a frill last year but this year i got most of them off this pair with a frill, plus for the first time in three years i got the opal cheq. |

| The best artical i saw about breeding was done by M and D Evans and that was done a few years ago |

some of the old lefebre lines were prone for throwing the frills & crested yb, also opals (but tend to look for the blues/chequers & darks for racing) |

| this is the opal cheq, he was a lter bred bird but is very different to the usuall ybs off this pair.........he is broad shouldered and quite short cast and has a very dark iris. strange little bird really.... |

| looks in good order David.......like the exchange bird you send down earlier this year, the chequer was a promising looking yb but lost training when got smashed with the hawk.

| yes i remember you saying during the season you were plagued with hawk/bop attacks......it must be dissheartening when it gets like that, i get it every now and then but the uncertainty is always there when they are out. |
