the good thing is tho, you have kept in contact and up to date with all things pigeon since you packed in.........i found it very hard after 20 plus years away because i had no contact at all with pigeons until i started again.......and after 20 years it had changed a lot.

i know what your saying john, don has no birds in the shows....but some might have some objections to another member having sole choice of picking a winner of winners.......

I don't mind at all but let the rest of the members agree on what they want first just to make everyone happy

if i had used my head in the beggining i would have asked don to judge them all.....but to do it now might/or might not cause some controvasy.........if you know what i mean

When worked at the shows you should see the show men when a racing man is judging the show bird class

i thought there wasnt a hard and fast standard for show races don, dont judges just go on personall choice ?

Yes mate but the show men knock the racing man big time

Tell you what a lot of race men are doing now is adding show pigeon to the breed for better feather quality and letting the birds fly in certon classes like flow over 200 miles which looks a lot better than a normal racing pigeon which is completely different
