- David this may sound daft but why are you waiting for y/b racing dident you say you have 22 birds to carry over this year
Ken yes, your right ken....i do have 22 birds, 6 are stock which can never go out, 6 are yearlings who have never been trained and 10 are 09 ybs....5 of which are latebreds. with this motly crew i wouldnt be able to race them as obs and also if i did i wouldnt be able to manage to breed 30-35 ybs to race next year..... |

| Same here pair the stock up xmas but with what i have in mind a couple of the race team will be paired same time, young birds all out of way before racing starts, repair 2 weeks before first race so they are sitting eggs for that race, send birds to race clear all eggs away when birds come back they are on the roundabout system Ken |

| Round about is very good for hens, but if anyone can get a copy of the Henry Gonzales of Bristol he shows you how he raced 2 cocks to 1 hen
How about racing 2 hens to 1 cck something to think about |

| You would know David, if you look at your birds, and you have any doubt in them, then you have a problem. Ill make this following statement my best advice " Without the horses , you are lost." |

| What i mean is, the pigeons is the "horses" , one must be absolutely sure you have the right birds for the distances one want to fly. They must be 100% selected and tested with absolutely no doubt about their ability. |
