ive onece had a show racer which was rpra rung and as far as im aware as long as its registered to you as a member of the npa you should be ok to show it........the show racer is more docile than the racing pigeon but maybe because they are new to your loft is why they arnt eating much.......

some really nice birds there, looking at the rings they are rpra show racer rings for example gb10sr00000,
might be worth the effort in joining the rpra and getting them transfered into your name, they are good quality birds there.

yes david 3 pair hopefully.2 of the red cheqs are carrying dilute so they are cocks.the 2 blue cheqs one is a little bit sturdier than the other so hopefully a cock and a hen.the red bar one is the mother of all the reds im lead to believe.this is my first time having show racers and on the first night i got them they nearly fell out my hands they are like bars of soap.strong and broad at the shoulders and taper off till almost nothing at the tail.a couple of them have slightly longer tails than the others.is their a standard for the show racwers?ive had the doug mclary book ever since ive kept pigeons and alway loved the thought of owning some.recently gave up the west of england tumbler and as some people already know im a big horseman pouter fan.done really well at blackpool this year i got an npa challenge cert for a blue grizzle.which is good for the biggest fancy pigeon show in uk.i usually do well at all the local shows but its onwards and upwards for me.been showing pigeons now for the past 3 years.i spend a lot of time with the birds so im on the right road to success. study im becoming apigeon swat.

I ONCE HAD A RED CHEQ SHOW RACER HEN, I BOUGHT IT FROM A SHOW IN HARROGATE OVER 20 YEARS AGO.......she was a lovely handling bird with silky soft feathers, i settled her very easily to my loft and i actually paired her to a pencil blue racer.......the ybs off them raced but were always late.....

yes the hen i had couldnt fly like the racers, she did fly round the loft but i would have been suprised if she flew off as she always stayed around the house........you can tell the difference between show racers and racers when they are exercising, it seems the s/racer is struggling to fly compared with the racers......

its in their best interests to do it geordiejen, if it was lost and reported at least they know who it belongs to and it will save them any problems,,,,
