| this is for the lads who take an interest in high flyers.Well as some of you are aware there was an old bird fly on sunday with liberation 5.30 am i drove to a few of the lads houses and was impressed with there birds they had been up for 6 hours and you would think they had just been released they were playing about clapping their wings and generally having a good time by tea time one kit was hit by a sparrow hawk and one bird killed so that was one flyer less in competition later on a bird split from a kit and went missing for more than an hour [disqualified] another one bites the dust it went down to two lads and my mate won it with a good time of 17 hrs 10 mins the other lads kit split [disqualified] and the missing bird turned up 5am this morning |

| excellent, interesting post...............so what happens if a sparrowhawk attacks the group, do they fly in all directions like racing pigeons ? i never new there was so much involved with these high flyers re dropping out of the bunch etc and the team being disqualified. 17 hourd 10 mins is an awful long time to be continuously flying, but a great achievment for the winner. |

| Yes mate it is
That was the best if we had an hold over and released on the sunday the high flyers would be up in arms as with the racers trapping this would cause there tipplers to land on the trap which would cause the fancier problems as soon as the first one lands the rest of the team have to land also and all enclosed within the large trap aviary within an hour
David they fly in kits of any size but the smallest is 3 and have to show themselfs every hour over the loft as there is always a judge to see everything is run correctly
You just imagine having them fly 18 hours and they one drops and you can not trap the other 2 and you are then disqualified that is what you call a kick in the nuts
Hey David |

| David they can the tipplers are very small and light and if you look at all racers which are long distance they have the same type of body small, light but strong and bags of heart |
