| sent 8 widowhood cocks tonight for the first time this season, was happy enough with how the training has been going but a bit dissapointed when basketing because i decided to only turn the bowls over and open the nestboxes.............i expected the cocks to get a bit excited and start callng to the hens i the bowl but they didnt show much interest and were up and down to the floor, maybe i should have locked the hens in the nestboxes and let the cocks in for a minute before basketing.......  |

bet you have a sleepless night. thanks john, hope you do well as well...............was a bit stressed for an hour before i took them as i needed to wing stamp them and write the ring nos down, then open the boxes etc , but calmed down once they were in the race panniers........ think your right, i will have a restless night i think and be up bright and early.... |
