| just received details from mark re the first training toss for the testloft ybs,
mark let the ybs go at 6.30 tonight from about 5 miles, and witnessed hawks go into the pack scattering them everywhere.........at present there are none back so lets hope that as nights closing in they dont fly too far away and they work their way back home tommorrow.
mark also had 11 of his own ybs in with them and they are also missing, this means there are 33 ybs away.
mark will keep us updated on any returns. |

Sorry chaps for the disaster..........wasted 3 months, thanks to the hawks and they were lookin one hell of a team.

| just updated, as i collected a tester yesterday.......No 87, this hen was at Paul Kendalls loft from Thursday last week and he finally managed to catch it a week later,,,,,,,,,,,,for some reason it would not go or enter Pauls loft, he had been feeding it each day by his loft but it would not go in....
I have had strays stay out for a day or so, then hunger gets the better of them and they go in, but this stubborn girl would have stayed there until it died.........why??? obviously knew it wasnt home and had given up i pressume??
Its ok now and back in the loft |
