yellow hazard light

not sure if it was the bhw or rp, fed up with attacks on his pigeons a fancier wrote in the letter page that he had put out one of the yellow hazard lights you see on the side of skips he said he had no more trouble after this and the pigeons were ok with it i would think you would only switch it on when the birds were out has anyone else heard this?

yes i have read this a few times before also hanging cds outside the loft or put a mirror in the garden facing the sky

my friend has 2 of them yellow lights on his lofts also about 20 buzzards flying around so i wouldnt say there that good but his birds are used to seeing the buzzards they dont attack them there were at least five flying round when the birds came back from the race last week not on had a bad trap or circled

im sure ian has one of these yellow flashing beacons, dont know if it does anything tho.......

i have two mirrors placed near the loft facing the sun so as to startle any hawks etc, havnt had any trouble since using them so i would recommend it to others......

i have a big mirror which goes out in the garden everytime the birds are out and have never had an attack at the loft fingers crossed it stays that way their is also a mirror ball sold at bodey and ridewood
