what are the best???

just wondered what are your thoughts on the best pigeon strains for and up to the 250/300 mile mark???? and what are the best pigeons to cross into each other for this also??

hi davey, i think the answer to that one is entirely up to the fancier.......there are that many different breeds/strains of pigeons that some do well for one man but others do well for another man.

if a certain fancier does well with soontjens he will swear by them and say they are the best whereas another might do well with janssens ect.

if you read through the homing world you will see every breed of pigeon you can think of winning in different areas.

yeah there are loads !!!! just wondered what peoples thoughts were. what strains suit this distance is another question .

lol pretty much same question that ha ha im tered think i need some zzzzzzz lol

The Van Reets will do that distance and more they are a good pigeon and they cross well my fed topper is a Van Reet xVandenbealle.
