| i know these m and d evans seem to do plenty of winning for fanciers, but i cant see how this years ybs and yearlings are making thousannds of pounds, after all what could the yearlings have bred ? and as they dont race pigeons themselves now they cant have won anything racing.............. madness........ |

| your right David they dont race anymore but they are still breeding winners for natinals and other big races people are going a bit mad on this auction beying yearlings for that kind of money after all you cant breed winner every nest nor pigeons to breed winner i went there just to purchase 12 young birds to race as im just starting up again and at 50 pounds each i think was a good deal as they are gran children of the main birds you have to bey good pigeons to start with other wise you wont win LOT 4 SOLD - Final Bid: £2,700.00 - Eric Godelieve. Belgium |

| yes eves i agree, yearlings and ybs for this price is total maddness...........
on the other hand, you buying ybs to race is good, they are bred of good blood and it gives you a chance to race them for reasonable outlay...... |

| its just a name thats fetching that sort of money as theyve got a bit of a legacy breeding national winners, but once the chinese start bidding against you it turns into a bidding war |

| its all a gamble eves, no one can say for certain if a bird will breed winners....even if it does have a magnificent pedigree. winners dont always breed winners. |
