| If you want to keep as many pigeons as possible for racing as old birds
i would consider racing your young birds in the come back races |

| The reason for sending the young birds to only the come back races is because the amount of pigeons will be less on the transporter and with older young birds on the transporter things can be a little calmer for them |

| Also with giving them only a few races the birds can be left to mature without having everything raced out of them as youngbirds |

| so what you are saying just send them in the comeback races not the other races just misunderstood don ,i myself think you should send to at least five or six races as youngbirds , many roads to roam |

| Once you have got a good amount of pigeons you can send them all, and you will have more of a chance being left with pigeons at the end of the season |

| Will say after 4 races i always stopped my young cocks which showed promise to mature but always raced my hens the whole programme as i never raced hens after the young bird racing had finished |

| Will say having a large team you can have a better chance of sending fresh birds which have not been flown out |
