| hi frankie, do you mean when they are let out for the first time after weaning ? if so i try to get my ybs out as soon as possible after i have parted them from the parents..........obviously they wont be able to fly away at this age so its best to let them have a look at the surrounds, altho ive usually found very young babies are wary about walking out of the door so just keep opening the door every day and they will venture out when they are ready..............
its no good waiting until they are strong on the wing to let them out for the first time or they will be off....... |

| I dont no what your setup is you should let them out through the trap, if you cant let them out of the trap before you feed then put a little corn on the trap, when they feeding on the trap put your corn in the hopper and call them in thry will muck about for a little time but they will get use to it, do not feed before you let them out |

| Hi my trap is the same as in the video they come out of the trap easy without any trouble i kept there food away for a day then yesterday when i opened the trap they came out i left them for about 45min then i called them they were very hungry the flew straight to the loft but they did not want to enter the trap i place corn in the hoper ect they want to enter through the gate atleast they come when i call now to teach them to trap.
This video is super cool the birds are very good trained good job i will get there slowly but i wil.
Regards
