HOT OR COLD BATHS FOR PIGEONS ??

hi all , just a question for you all , i use warm water to bath the pigeons as it works better i think
as it soakes there feathers better with lots of salt and malt vinegar added for feather condition
and also keeps the nasties at bay .

i use radox it relaxes them more

It's as it comes for me, with a spoonful of Borax.

warm or cold water ?

Cold mate, even when there is Ice on the ground.

We don't have hot water on the allotment.

I've known quite a few fanciers to us Potassium Permanganate, in the water.

mine are on private land i rent no running water i take every thing by car

cold for me with a pinch of condys crystals

would the boy;s use warm water if they could get access to it.
or still use cold water

I'd still use cold, the birds don't seem to mind at all and it doesn't seem to do them any harm.

i just thought if it was warm it would clean them better.

The borax does that.

i have mine warmish, i think it relaxes the birds more than cold, also i would think warm water cleans them better than cold water...........i also add salt and vinegar to it too.


then i wrap them in newspaper................
