All sites contained within the above mentioned forms are at the discretion of the site administrators.

these rules have been from day one ian, when you and other members first aplied to join this site you had to think of a user name, add an active email address and also TICK A BOX saying you abide by FORUMOTIONS rules, do you remember this ? the rules are somewhere on this site...probably in the very early posts so if you took notice a few months ago i made it a seperate forum on the homepage where it could be seen by all members old and new, then there would be no problems/combacks.

it is under the chat, and as you will see it hasnt just been added tonight.

the for sale section has been on here from day one don, unlike all other forums i do not charge any members to advertise what they want to in this section....everyone is welcome to sell anything at any time completely frre of charge.....

yes i know ian, just letting you and other members know i dont have double standards, as you know you yourself have posted up quite a few pigeons for sale....i have never once complained or even asked for money like some site would, you and everyone else are welcome to post items for sale at any time.....after all it is down you yourself and the other members who make this site what it is, warts and all.......

I will come back with more on this topic to-morrow there is a difference between a professional body trading in pigeons and a ordinary fancier were one is a member of the RPRA and the other not living in the UK. also if there was a dispute between the two parties it may involve the person who took the advert i also think anyone advertising birds on the site should state there RPRA number and also if the birds rings are in there name as i can see more trade names comming on site

That is a fair comment. The last thing the site needs is feather traders, as some are very unscrupulous. The site could only be held responsible if the said site was endorsing his pigeons in some way. Which quite clearly, is not the case.
Personally, I would not waste my time selling birds on any site.

hi george, not getting into any arguement with you or anyone else....but this professional seller you talk about seems to me an ordinary fancier who despite living in another country is merely trying to selll a few pigeons..........no member is forced to buy from him. if this was louella or m and d evans posting pigeons for sale i could understand your concern but this seems to be an average fancier who actually races hes birds.

if we want to go down the road of not trusting any man who wishes to sell a few eccess pigeons this would mean any of our members would have to provide ring numbers and rpra loft numbers to enable them to do so..........no other forums i know of make these rules, and i also do not think members being asked to do this will be too happy.

one thing about this forum is that it is easy going, with no moderators breathing down members necks over every post they make, and also no admin removing or deleting posts which on some forums would be classed as un suitable.........dont lets start quoting rules and regulations or we will go quickly down hill, and if members begrudge a man selling a few pigeons its a poor show.

i agree david and not lets forget david and i think alex did set up a forum auction site for all to use times have changed and its time fellow pigeon men stick to gether today i note ian is offering for sale a few nest box fronts as far as im aware these are not advertised eles where so one of our members may get a bargin
knowing ian it will be we are all here as members lets help each other im sure if people started to use the sites as a slaes site david would put this to right

yes braham, i agrre with everything you have said, alex did set up an auction site for our members to use, and yes ian has posted some fronts on the site........we need members/fanciers to stick togeather and if one of our members can buy some decent nestbox fronts that can only be good for the site and the sport/hoby of pigeon keeping...........

over the years members have sold baskets, pigeons etc, we have even held auctions and members were highly delighted with the birds they won.......

lets not start grumbling over a man selling a few pigeons, after all he isnt eijerkamp is he.........

no hes not eijerkamp david but to be fair to others and i can see there point a contribution to a post would also be nice not just pop up when birds are for sale
at the end of the day to be honest the site seems to be getting stronger and more relaxed ok we have bantor and the odd fall out but in genaral alls good
and correct me if im wrong all are genuin blokes who will help each other when and whare needed its not for me to say but i note on another site they have a fire fund and maybe we should also look to charge members a yearly fee say 10 pound that could be saved incase of something like this happening and dont forget this is the only site with a chat room i think most wouls agree to apying for this and saving to a fund should any member have some fire or break in just my opinion
