There is some stunning birds among them. cheers
Winners, I hope so too mate, my reputation is on the line. lol!
The slatey and it's nest mate are out of old Janssen lines. Bionic, Sheere Elegance, Geeloger, lines. That's a breed that has stood the test of time.
We've also decided to hold a competition with all our customers and we'll give the purchaser of our birds with the best youngbird result a £100. Hows that for giving something back. Double the purchase price cheers

thats an excellent offer to the buyers gary, im sure it will help boost sales and also let buyers know they are gettinbg a good deal, maybe some of the big studs should do this for buyers to show its not all about making huge profits all the time......altho some might do it Razz

The way we see it mate, the love of keeping and racing pigeons. Is first and foremost.
Ok from time to time, we do spend some quite large sums of money on stock. This has nothing to do with anything else, except maybe trying to improve our own bloodlines in a bid to make us become more competitive.
Sometimes this is not the case, regardless of breed or where it came from, it gets the chop.
We don't over breed our birds and we are not a stud.
But if selling the first rounds off some of our birds helps keep the birds in corn for the rest of year, then this is good enough. Were not out to rob anybody.
I just think the offer will be a good incentive and maybe show some good will.
We might have two short days at the show, because once we have took out the stock birds, there is only about 45 youngsters for sale, there's loads more in the nest, but they won't be ready for the show and like kev and myself have discussed, we are not prepared to sacrifice our future stock birds for the sake of a few quid.
No doubt summat will catch our eye in Blackpool.
Wall Lunt Green & Galley are having a sale maybe we can get a few additions to some we already have. lol! lol!

Bert Hession, Andy Gregson, Dean Pallat, just to name a few. We used to have a big successful family of them a lot went to Ireland. We just retained about six pairs. That pair have bred some good ones. The cock is a 99 bird, his lines go back to Toey on his Dams side and Witpen Daniel on his Sires side.

I am Rene, there will be some nice birds, but a very limited amount. We've got a few different lines. But all well bred.

Cheers for that Darren, the last two cheqs, I have high hopes for.
The mother to that hen in the second pic up, Mother Superior, got sold for £4750 and her sire The Pulse got sold £1100 and her half sister Enigma got sold for £2800.
The cock she's paired with is the only son we have ever bred out of a bird called the Govner.
These two are going into stock, we are going to float the next round of eggs and then let them rear the last round. Those two rounds are going into the race team.
I don't have any reason for ringing them on the left leg.
