| just been reading about this search of bilcos loft and house, i noticed someone suggested the blackpool show(bhw) make a donation to the rspb every year............as the bhw is the rpra`s publication it reafirms my own suggestion that the rpra are donatiing money to the rspb............ i think its about time the members made it clear the employees and manager of the rpra work for US, and to stop stabbing us in the back by fraternising with the enemy |

| I would certainly reshuffle it. Whatever happened, to RPRA The Voice Of The Fancier. What do we pay our fees for? What do we get for our fees? Who regulates the RPRA?
Save Our Songbirds? Bollocks. Save OUR PIGEONS.
Obviously the RPRA are giving money to the RSPB. What also is quite clear, is that we don't have a say in what the RPRA does or how it spends our money. The RPRA have become so wrapped up in their own importance, it's forgot exactly what it's there for. Why hasn't the RPRA issued a statement about this raid and it's facts. Why has the RPRA not screamed from the rooftops, that they are not going to allow this sort of persecution of it's members. It was like when Kev was losing his allotment, the RPRA rep, who we know quite well is a decent fancier, told us that the official word from the RPRA was that he didn't have a leg to stand on. It was me who threatened to write articles to the local newspapers and get the backing of the local residents to back Kev. The last thing that the waterways wanted was lots of bad press, depicting them as bullies and heartless. This turned out as victory for the fanciers involved and the waterways making an amicable compromise. There was never any mention of the millions of pounds legal funds that are in place to defend fanciers in court action. Te RPRA needs a backbone which would make fanciers proud to be a member. Rant over... |

| The RPRA should have a motto of one voice and give something back to the people who have fed them for years |
