ybs out today flew for only about 35 mins today for some reason......did throw in down with rain again about 15 mins after letting them out, maybe this is why ? doesnt usually bother them though. still, had a decent fly and came straight in when called so they are getting used to the routine pretty good now. don, i think it will be easier to keep them in a routine when they are training and racing as they will be more disaplined(?) and if i stick to a fixed amount of corn they will be working it off by racing rather than just flying round home.

had ybs out today and flew for 55 mins, for the first time they landed on the loft instead of first landing on the house roof......i think calling then in and feeding them as soon as they land instead of letting them peck around infront of the loft is better and teaches them to land on the loft and do as they are told.... lol!

yes, thanks littlehen....they were out today and didnt land on the house so they are not doing bad at the moment.......i dont think im going to get them out of the habit over night so ill just keep up to the routine of not letting them land on the house by throwing something up at them, although i dont think the willow tree in front of the loft is doing them any good as they have to land from the back of the loft.

David if you have some old eggs which the pigeons have laid and you don't want them then use them by throwing them at the pigeons

With throwing soil you have more chance of damaging your roof tiles
