Well that is good news firstly that we have so many interested as its a fine healthy list, secondly I wanted to stay in so if you give me a bit more time I can stay in.
I fully understand that all yoiungsters arriving together makes things much simpler and helps the birds deveope and settle together, However I will have to read things more carefully in future if I want to take part in forum activities, I will send youngsters from my very first round a.s.ap.

thats good to hear martyn, glad your still involved......also well done to graham for amending the deadline to allow members to stay in.

not that i know of martyn, the interest just hasnt been there this year, and with the test loft it seemed pointless doing the yb exchange as well.......

ok, seems a pity not doing the exchange as its a different thing al together, its not a competition and it costs only the carrage? however it would probably have been the same members in the exchange thats in the test loft?

i like the exchange but with the test loft thing is going to be hard to do money wise..its the cost of carriage spoiling it for me,thats 80 quid just for that if we went ahead with it.but if memebers still wanted to do then maybe we could sort something out.its still good to do especially the way we do it as it adds more interest

its up to members really martyn, if gaz or you post up a topic and see whos interested theres no harm in asking........i wont be entering it though as im not racing any birds at all this season, ill be breeding for other fanciers and getting all the jobs done which ive neglected over the last year.

its all down to the cost of couriers now.
it will cost us £70 to get birds from and to England to Scotland now.

if the last 4 test lofts bird dont go could we have another bird so we fill the numbers for graham

john it would not cost you that if there are the collections to be picked up most it would be is 45quid not an afternoons drink money sean

the couriers will only go as far as Aberdeen and well have to make a 90 miles round trip to inverallochy,
and it cost me £15 for fuel.
I contacted the new couriers for uk pigeon couries.
new name HIGH FLYERS UK COURIERS and asked a price to get birds up from England .
and was told £70 to deliver to our door alan.

theres a courier on here John try him if not try george at saltire he is very good and delivers to peterhead i have had george take and bring up to me to my door for 45 quid but the ones who took over uk are very daer

a will ask saltire couriers if thy can do it.
