the droppings have changed from green tinged with white to brown and its like going into a chicken shed.........
maybe should have just stuck to breeding mix, any thoughts ? All i can say is we thought we were clever years ago in the early 80,s all the boys around us used %of turkey pellets(anti blackhead)canker, and chicken growers(cocci) for youngsters, and it worked very well, beautiful racing, but alas Nature will not be mocked and she bit us with a vengence a few years after ,it was awful ,we just couldn,t keep them healthy,it ruined whole families of decent racers, much the same as the big boys in belgium useing huge doses os antibioticsfor restpo andother drugs for canker, then shipping their contaminated crap into english lofts, its pathetic,it will not be very long before you will have problems even sourcing healthy future stock, honestly. |

Forget the queen etc, no value to me down here. Turkey pellets, not my thing "too dear". Chicken layer pellets in my view, can be of benefit & I have fed them for over 20 years also & have not found them a problem/issue. Around 5% racing & up to 20% breeding is my way. ***** |
