| Thanks Oldstream the Melderts are all based from the witton lines, i got a pair back in 2004 the sire being a son out of champion witton who bred over 65 x 1st the son for me todate is sire and G S GGS to 21 x 1st This year i have crossed all of the melderts apart from the old fella he is still paired to a meldert hen which this year is a daughter of his, and the young in the pic is one of this year younguns out of them Ken |

| The van lints i brought in last year, vis D Pallet, i watched these birds for 2 years a partnership in Liverpool brought them in and they stared winning from the off, of the original twleve they bought 11 of them scored they also did it as yearlings, so this will be my first time racing them as youngsters, but again only time will tell if they will suit my management as i know some familys dont Ken |

| my friend got 12 from one of deans sales 2 years ago all later bred since then he has won lots of prizes with them im not 100% sure but i think he has got some of the other birds dean has and is going to cross them they always seem to come as a team very good as y/b from what i seen of them when i was there he now has a strong team of 2 year olds and yearlings and will try them more this year good luck to you with yours |

| one other thing i did notice is how quick they mature last year i went to see my mate his young birds were about six weeks old a few weeks later when i went they were like yearlings plenty of body and strong wing buts |

| To be honest i dident really notice how quick they matured, i have two in the nest now the last 2 ill keep a watch on these to see how quick they mature Thanks Ken |
