yes maybe 9 times out of ten you will be correct but you still get that gut feeling about certain pigeons and they can prove you wrong yes would agree more or less ian, but how long do you give them to show something.....? |

| i not saying you keep everything until 3 4 year olds all iam saying is that sometimes you get a gut feeling about a pigeon even when it hasnt done anything for two years but has been steady you wont understand as you have to be dedicated and watch them all the time then youll know what iam talking about |

| I agree Ian you have to watch your pigeons and if it's a steady pigeon yes one more chance just to be let down, but i have done that in the past gut feeling second chance |

and he said there wasnt as many daft rules about and he said he couldnt race now ... an old guy in our club told me put a chair in with birds [ive got a fold away chair] and sit in loft with birds for 40 minutes a day, they get used to you better, and as Don says you see things happening what you normally wont see in the birds |

| About sitting with birds, when i was a young lad would place a little foot stool in the youngbird section and after a few weeks talking to them or just sitting there reading a pigeon book, the youngbirds would get used to me andsometimes come and rest on me |

I would'nt have thought that was a good idea, if the bird decides to preen it's self it may well be sick. How old is the bird Phil and how long have you had him/her? If your not going to race it this year why dont you cut just one wing down. (How's colleen doing?) |
