| I give my birds grit every day and they get Matrix sparingly, however I dont ever give minerals to the birds, my pigeons dont eat them? I have always thought if they eat minerals then they are lacking something, my mate cant understand it as he feeds lots to his birds but I dont and my youngsters are very well and in the past 2 years I have now bred over 200 ybs and not 1 sick bird. My opinion not gospel. |

| kev, i mix pink minerals with tk conditioner, grits, pickstone etc and it sticks to it even without damping it down, normally it doesnt actuall coat the mixture but i recently stumbled across some pink minerals made by versele laga which are very, very fine powder and mixes/sticks perfectly without damping..... |

| old birds seem to take minerals as and when but i find y/b aint to keen
so i add all minerals to the corn and crush clay blocks and add them
a tea spoon of each is plenty clay blocks keep the droppings nice and tight to
grit is also put in the feeder just a handull per 25 birds |
