| well rather pleased took 4th club in my first yb race with a bird gifted from our own David , a big thank you david its also my first card ever so double pleased |

| thats fate for you pete, the yb was a single reared yb and is a janssen x soontjen/meldert, and the mother died that time when my dog got into the loft and ripped them to bits........as it happens i sent the second round to a fancier in ireland, and he has nothing but praise for them and says he has high hopes for them. |

| LOL pete.........i still have her nestmate which is a cock, but no other ybs were ever bred off either of them until this season when i sent all the ybs out to other fanciers, the soontjen/meldert which was the mother of your 4th place bird was gifted to me by ken/friendslofts who has done very well with them. |

| Well done on your result they are cracking birds I got off David as well the blue tip your talking about got me 13th position last week which also is first by race for me well done on breeding such a good bird David my blue tip is looking great I'm sending her to the same race this Friday so she knows her way so now so fingers crossed for this week!! |

| That's right David she is a good bird to be getting that position for me I'm happy with that there is some great flyers in my club and some excellent birds so for her to get that position was great fingers crossed this weekend it's the same race so she knows the route.. |

The N.E.H.U race from Melton Mowbray 21/4/2012 was won by Peel bros of South Shields, they took 1st club 1st fed, also taking 2nd and 4th club and 15 of the 25 birds clocked in the club......well done Peel brothers.
