First race...

just found out sunday our first race will be from newark 56 miles and will be on the 9th april.........i did hope it would be the same as last year and start on the 17th so i might struggle to get them in with me pairing up on the 5th feb.

also in my opinion its been left very late for us to find out when the reacing starts as its only 5 weeks away and i dont even know the race program.

ybs will have only been parted a week don, so this leaves only a week to train them to race.............they havnt been out all winter so im thinking im in trouble.

David you can race them natural for the first few weeks no worries at all

You will have too get them out mate and get them on the wing mate

mine have been out now two weeks and the difference is unbelieveable there weight as come of
and there flying for fun end of march or early april they will get a few short tosses . stop messing and get sorted david you have been pussy footing about now for for over a year

yes i know you are both right, but the ybs are only 4 days old and some eggs are due to hatch thursday................i darnt risk loosing any ybs either by the eggs going cold or the babies dying.
