| bought some of this a while ago and never used it, was thinking of trying it.........the directions for use say it can be either added to ther water or mixed with the food, i think i prefer to mix with the food as it seems a waste added to the water, plus its not cheap so no point wasting it.
has anyone used this and how do they prefer to give it to the pigeons ? also if mixed with the corn do those who have done this leave it over night to dry ?
how many times a week should i give this ? |

| while your birds are moulting use 2 table spoons to 2kg of corn add some poultry spice to it you will see a massive drop of feathers and it is good for the new feathers that grow its best mixed on the food and given soon as you mix it not left over night |

| righto thanks, on the directions it says 5ml per kilo but that doesnt seem enough to coat a kilo of corn to me.....altho i think used in the water is an expensive waste. |

| they dont want to touch it in water birds will always avoid anything in there water but will take things on the food
the poultry spice is also very good gem pax is expensive you can use butter milk instead to mix poultry spice they go through the moult very quick
not sure what the spice dose to be honest but you do notice a bif differance in feather |

| i use gem the pax myself and realy rate it...on the corn is the most cost effective and best way to use at a rate of 5 mil per kilo of corn but use same day as it can sour very quickly and always clean mixing bucket after use ..if left hanging about can give the birds a dodgey crop jmo ..i use brewers to dry off corn but you will find it dries quite quickly on the corn anyway atb |

| started using it today, mixed it in with the corn and gave it 5 mins to dry up a bit.....planning on maybe 3 days a week whilst moulting.
anyone else used this and got an opinion on it...? |

| hi david, I use it but just a half teaspoon to moisten the corn to allow TS-6 to stick to it. Twice a week, but when I've been working away or on holiday and missus or sons been feeding them I tell them to put a capfull in the water every other day or so. Not sure if it makes a difference on its own but I know the TS-6 does. |
