| hi ray nice set of results
we had 20 x 1st this season but we are members in 3 clubs but we only sent in 3 clubs 2 times throughout the season
1 club did not fly yb due to members loosing a lot of bird before yb season started
we had some good performances this season and also some lows
i consider that 9 x 1st at the one club were at a weak club so i class the federation results from that club being the gauge of the result. and some of the fed results were good flying up to 4300 birds and getting nice fed cards in a central position sadly this club (Tipton & District) is now folded and will be no more(was a massive club in the late 80s having over 100 members with a waiting list to join)
the other club we sent most weeks has some strong members but only small birdage, members such as J T Lawley the master and others, we had 9 x 1st there with some good fed results winning 1st west section once and plenty of fed cards up too 4000 birds in fed the other club we sent 8 races sending a max of 6 birds against up to 400 birds we took 2 x 1st and 2x 2nd and 3 x 3rd and 1 x 4 th we also had our best fed results in this fed a 3rd and a 5th fed, but i feel our position is in a real bad position for this fed only sending 41 pigeons in this club this season
also taking fed cards across the water was good
we only started with 17 widowhood cocks and 9 widowhood hens and fled with 13 yb due to losses
also the 3rd season of having stock birds has bought more success with stock birds breeding several winners |

| nothing to write home about realy but we got two finishes in the top 20 of the open with old birds and with ybs we had 4 races finishing..10th club 32nd open, 9th club 28th open,6th club 13th open and the last race we was 14th club and 66th open ....they started to fall apart after this but we were happy with the naturals ...well done to the other members on their results |
