i dont think the members who have voted to give the money to g have did so to cover expenses i think it is what is called a goodwill gesture because what price do you put on sleepless nights worry etc,also in my opinion if the members decided it was to go to charity you then have to decide which one as im sure every member thinks there choice would be more deserving so then dragging the test loft on longer than anybody would want,it was a fair vote and g came out on top so lets just pay out and move on

been reading all the posts about the test loft im glad it got off the ground cos we were one of the first sites in the country to talk about having one . G you have done a great job and very dedicated to the birds and could not have asked for a better person to do it , with all the time and energy it takes and all the early mornings and worries it gives you ,you could give him a £1,000 and it would not cover it cos G is TOP BLOKE , you did the site proud old boy well done .

This site is going down the pan due 2 KNOW IT ALL 40 odd ppl on 9 regestered and the rest are guests says it all its supposed 2 be about helping each other not putting members down

i agree to a certain extent mick, the site is very quiet but so are a few other sites too.......but if any member/s are disgruntled with the site and have a grudge against it, or who dont like how the site is run, then maybe it would be best if they kept away as im sure there are other sites they can spend their time on and may or may not be made welcome.......

the bottom line is if they dont like it.....leave the site, because as steve says, the site will survive with or without them.  

Who said the site wouldn't survive ,, I'm making a point in people putting other people down what about fanciers and coments like that so what people have had good seasons and some have had bad seasons coments like that can make a member think about flying there birds I had coments like that and thought about giving up and I can guarntee others have aswell
