Bureaucracy !!!!!!!! Gone mad

Sad !!!!!, but I'm goverened by a pack of half whits       at a council level unfortunately I have to say down here. My wife, has been having big trouble with gout in her knee & her hip is giving her all sorts of trouble/problems etc. So her doctor suggested she apply for an invalid pass from the council, so she could park close to the shops type of thing when shopping & save her walking any distance. 6 month pass we requested from them (council) to give her time to get better. Sorry they said I'm   quoting some by-law etc from a goverement department, which states you have to be incapacitated for at least 6 months before you can apply for the pass. I saw red "Big time" when I saw the letter this morning in the mail. As such        a phone call was made     & I used all my diplomacy when speaking to the poor excuse of a human been on the other end of the line     there. Strange !!!!! but some how they saw the error in their judgement & as such     a pass     will be in the post ASAP they promised me for my wife. So !!! maybe there is some hope for us no bodies etc.

I recently put in an application for some planning, I didn't know the fee, so I asked the planning office the nice lady said she didn't know how much but would find out.
She came back and said she didn't know but another planning lady would be out soon, she came out went through the application with me and said she didn't know but would find out, so she went to see another planning official, after 10 minutes she came back with the answer, I wrote the cheque and went home, so it was 3 planning officials to find the answer and over 20 minutes.

On the Monday after submitting the application a letter arrived stating my application was void and wouldn't be dealt with as I had made a mistake and submitted the wrong fee...????

Sounds  like your people in the U K [GOV]have the same problem/training as ours in the USA. They can not chew gum and walk at the same time. can only do one of them at a time--

Carbon copy just about Rudd     to what I went through yesterday etc here.            sweet young thing she was when I first rang, to complain. You know !!!!!!     Face mask & painted nails type I suspect. Know's all about twitter & the use use of an I Pad/mobile phone. Couldn't understand why I believed there had been an injustice done type of thing to my wife thou. Disappeared for ten minutes & kept me waiting etc then came back     & said I will pass you on to Mr Blogs, who I then explained my tail of woe too all over again. Must admit !!!!!!! something worked  because today in the post it arrived "The pass" in less than 24 hours. Hope for the little man, one could say. But only if your prepared to fight like hell for what you believe your rite is.
