Grains for racing pigeons

The art of feeding to accommodate different stages of a birds development has been practiced by successful flyers from the early days of the sport. Knowledge of feed composition is an essential for anyone who wants his birds to be competitive on race day. Feed plus vitamin supplements and a sound management program are key elements.

Good commercial mixes are available to those in areas where there are many fanciers and the demand. In other areas fanciers mix their own feeds because a good commercial mix is not readily available.

The purpose of this poll is to have anyone who cares to do so submit their favorite mixture for consideration, The viewers are asked to rate the mixture. The mixtures that receive the highest recommendations will become part of the "Feed Grains" site as a resource for those who want to feed their birds for different stages of racing and bird development.

Any mixture you would like to add? Any comments, suggestions, or questions?
