| We start in first May weekend. Being originally from Hartlepool I can imagine what the early Spring weather is like. Heck of a cold time raking up sea coal! |

| our first club race will be the 12th april from Newark 56 miles......the postponement has helped you really ray hasn't it, hope you manage to get more training in for them. halcanad, I would emagine if it was still from the same race point it would just add another week to the old bird program, or it might start from the second race point, ive no idea how it works........im sure ray will know |

| I Wish we started the first week in May, if we did, wouldnt have to get birds out when the Bops were at their most active, plus usually far too cold to train in early April, ive not had mine in the basket, yet, will just have to use the first race as a trainer. |

halcanad, I would emagine if it was still from the same race point it would just add another week to the old bird program, or it might start from the second race point, ive no idea how it works........im sure ray will know We just put the schedule for another week. Same race point to start. Still 12 races or so. First race point for me is 120 miles. Many others are shorter but does not matter. Many times have missed the first one if the birds were not ready. Two races a weekend. Short and longer. So 120 and 160. Usually goes up 50 miles each week. Then the 400 and 500. For me, anyway. The 600 is long gone, no one wants them. The majority dont anyway. Same stations for young birds. Up to 280. But the 400 is a special. Usually do not fly it. 2 hours to drive and 2 hours back. Twice as far as the club so miss it. Getting too advanced in age to worry about young birds. |
