noticed my ybs are not eating the maize and are mainly eating the smaller bits, the peas/beans and the b.o.s. pellets which im just using up.... drunken

could it be that maize is corbohydrates and the birds instinct tells it that its body doesnt need it, but must need the smaller seed..... scratch
