| sent 3 to huntingdon with yorkshire middle route, is my first race ever, 95 miles to me, just hoping they all come back, libbed at 9.30. |

| good luck to all who are racing today , i raced this morn from lyndhurst about 68 miles to me east to west route lib at 7-50 mine took 1hr 40 mins abit slow but i kept my main ones at home for the channel next week 4 out of 5 so far its very warm hardly no wind here . cheers all . |

| first one back, will be way off the leaders at 3 hours 54 mins but at least hes home to try again. |

| only 2 birds clocked on the day in our open ....don't know whats gone on 1 welsh pigeon clocked in Cardiff on the same transporter about 300 birds went to racepoint ...elgin  race will go on into tomorrow so a early start for me  |

| 13 birds home in our organisation last I heard ....sadly my 2 hens have not shown I am burnt to a crisp  ,ah well better luck next time

The N.E.H.U race from Melton Mowbray 21/4/2012 was won by Peel bros of South Shields, they took 1st club 1st fed, also taking 2nd and 4th club and 15 of the 25 birds clocked in the club......well done Peel brothers.
