no liberation today from messac some federations have released think they have dropped the birds in the sh**t http://www.meteofrance.com/accueil

we liberated from worksop at 7.30 145 miles to me good luck to them that get a race today

we have lib at 7-30 from nort sur erdre about 250 miles to me .
but its very worrying that some have let go at messac and some have held
we have to fly near where messac is to get home so fingers crossed for a good race , here its lovely blue sky no wind as such . good luck to all today .

well my race is over both hens in the loft...good luck kev I have a friend who entered a couple in the nort sur erdre race

don't know about that ric don't think its a winner but I wont be last as I beat me m8 down the road by 10 mins and he aint a happy bunny   so I never told him I had me 2nd bird 5 mins b4 him as he gives me a lift to the club      ...I never clocked that one gonna be a race won in the 1550 region I would think but stranger things have happened   ....hope you lads get a liberation tomorrow ,them poor birds must have been going doo lally tat when they heard the other birds being liberated on site

thanks david just happy to get um back tbh as they been the backbone of my loft all season and they deserve a nestling to rear after their efforts for me and they are well happy on the nest tending to their 5 day babies ...my experiment with the hens has not paid off but its been a good learning curve  ..either way we have enjoyed the anticipation on race day and will be giving the hens that are left a perch as they deserve it ...  atb

been a long wait but clocked at 2-55 7 hrs 25 mins doing 33mph
got 2 out of 4 so far i think its going to be a hard slog today but happy ive clocked .

hi newcastle fed at dover old bird national 277miles up this morning at 6/20 north west wind had a hard race we sent 3 old cocks ended up 6th club didnt even know there was a sixth place never mind theres always next week just glad got the 3 birds home. hope everyone has had good returns cheers terryp..

we were at eastbourne 299 miles 1700 yds very testing day north west wind all the way 4th club very happy with that

very hard race today from nort sur erdre 257 miles to me got 2nd club
with a late bred hen din,t get raced as a yb been to 2 very hard channel races and done well both times and i got share of the non money as well .

well done kev not bad for a late bred

at the club only 10 miles beat me home all in the shed eating when i got back .

Always handy if one can double up etc Kev     like you did. "Clock & toss" I did it for years here. One could say     a plus type situation if one has to travel some distance to present ones clock.

my birds were up from messac at 7am I reckon around 7 1/2 hours but im never right lol  

rick you have every chance with them yearlings, the leaders wont be far off a mile a min, good luck and dont underestimate there speed and for f**k sake dont get caught napping, good luck in every sence of the word.

got 1 doing 7.40 hours around 3 90 mile well chuffed   

just been told I fly 395 miles at that my velocity is over 1500 nd its over 51 miles an hour .fingers crossed
