we stoped training once racing had started, they were doing maybe an hour twice a day so we thought it was good enough....i remember on the morning they would go off like ybs.....then we would let them come and go from the loft for a while, but not ages they would be clapping off the loft roof and circling round the house and landing again...

The only reason for the training is to put an edge back on them if they start to loss that edge they had at the start of the season

thanks ian, im learning as much as i can from our members to get me started next season....if i do manage to race old birds it will just be basic widowhood which will then progress to roundabout hopefully when ive got into it more, then with ybs i will try darkness so i can compete on even terms with thew other members in the club as with yb racing anyone can win.....

the reason that it harder is because people have more birds so your racing against bigger numbers

there have always been mob flyers in clubs , but do you think fanciers are breeding and keeping more than ever nowadays to try to compete with the top flyers, thinking that mob flying will get them a position....maybe they think that quantity is better than quality ? what do you think ?
