All Ready !!!

all ready for our first yb race, done what training I could and decided to send 24 birds to Newark 56 miles, will leave the hen who`s just laid at home, thanks to darren`s advice (thanks Darren)......all that's left to do is wing stamp them and fill the race sheet out, fed them a light mix earlier this morning, so lets see if they come home tomorrow.......

Good luck to all the racing lads tomorrow, should be ok if some white clouds about, never was keen on clear blue skies for the first few yb races. Maybe just me but I found about 70% blue, 30% clouds always got steady racing whereas 100% clear blue and high temps generally dodgy race, not so bad once they get 2 or 3 races experience. Fingers crossed for you anyways.

We sent to Shrewsbury we were libbed @7.45 we had 2 at 9.18 we were 1st,2nd 1390,1385,velocity we got 7/10 still time for the others to come back hopefully

Just got our Fed result we were 15,16th out of 867,birds not to bad for the 1st race.

A bit slow getting a result etc V/R man    but one would have to say, a nice start to the season. Now !!!   we spit our Fed results (provisional) out here ASAP type of thing, all over & done with in 1/2 hour from pull over. Maybe ???   there is room for improvement there some where, at your end.
