The N.E.H.U race from Melton Mowbray 21/4/2012 was won by Peel bros of South Shields, they took 1st club 1st fed, also taking 2nd and 4th club and 15 of the 25 birds clocked in the club......well done Peel brothers.

Yearling loft and old bird loft al out together today. OB's some going in to yearling loft. Their own loft last year. Will let them pick and choose. Sunday start training them. First a 10 miler then 25 after that. 1st race 115 miles. May 7.

Thanks Mark. Usually not a problem. The distances, reasonable weather. Once racing starts no more training. Open loft as much as possible. I can afford to lose some to hawks etc,. Others hopefully get smarter. Not all have the location to do it this way. They peck at the ground etc,. Keep healthy. No meds here fortunately.
