MMMMMMMmmmmmmmm I think someone at your club, is rather wise etc "one bird clocking" saves on the paper work .

OK. Can you clock more and get in the Fed with them? Clocking limits are garbage. Same as the limit of number of birds sent by one fancier some clubs here have. Friend of mine sent 2 to one race few weeks ago and got 1st and 2nd. Only flew 10 each week other members were shipping 40 plus. He was always in the top 10 with those birds. Clocking limits make racing a joke. Does not encourage other members to try harder. 10 members in a club 10 positions. Absolute BS! 1300 yards per minute 10th person is 600? Still places? Does it get new members interested? Probably. Aesop's Fable.

Each to their own Hal but your way will/would never work in my back yard etc & smarter men than me made that decision here 100 years ago & even today, no one would be brave enough too suggest that we change. Think of it this way Hal, when I was a wee lad we had 500/600 flyers in the Fed & gave away 20 Fed spots. Now !!! under your system ??? would you like to have a punt on how many Fed spots I would have taking, back then.

See your point. Problem is the birds not counted after the 1st one do not get the credit they deserve. Or the fancier.
