Well after my so called flying year things has`nt turned out very well for me two old birds yearlings at that and 19 young birds mostly kept back I restart for next year, five races flown 3 old bird and two young bird 2 x 1st 1 x 3 rd two races no birds home for me, what hit me the most was training
I lost 95% from 9 to 25 miles, if I would have been the only one that lost them the first thing I would have said its me but in both clubs they had about the same send one day and get them the next time you send none home and next to no work backs when they go they seem to go for ever, the only thing I can put that down to is our boats going to Jersey they go down about 11 and they are liberated in the after noon in the heat of the day thats the only way we can get them down their, I hope next year with the new boat things will change. thats the thing with pigeons you get knocked back but you must pick yourself up and start again.
