| Hatched about Dec 25th. Plus 4 others, had to put old bands on them. I usually wean soon as they can eat but last year left them in the old bird flying loft and they flew out with the old birds. Fortunately non were scalped. Did not race them last year, hence too many until the races start. They were trained. Don. Yes you are right. Most are. Out of ten banded 8 are red or mealy. Two blues are related way back to the Paddy cock. |

| Have some blues and checks with feathered legs also. Strange! Maybe to keep their feet warm? Many years ago I imported Grooters from Hammond and whitaker. 10 of them.They bred many young. None were any good. Bushaerts also do not do well over here. Horses for courses. |
