| a 12 bore is whats required for bird hunting sadly no license and live in a built up area |

| funny you mention that Darren, today I had wire door open looking into loft and they started grunting....I turned round and saw a hawk hovering over the loft........glad they wernt out flying. |

its about time we had a thread on how to control these vermin instead of lying down and letting it happen we should have a right to protect what we own and not keep feeding all these winged marauders |

| to say we live in open country we dont see any near the loft now we know for fact there always hitting the lads who train by the m1 thats about a mile from our loft the advantage i think is that when they let there birds go the hawks are waiting cus they are so high up in open country i think if they came down from the motorway they wouldnt get hit so much
we have fields around our loft and we chuck bread and scraps for the crows and magpies when we let the y/b out dont know if they keep the hawks away but some recon it dose so we wil keep doing it |

| saw percy today flying over the loft expecting my ybs out, but I haven't got any or eggs yet so wont get mine this year for a while. |
